And I thought,
Leaving some special ones behind,
Could break my heart,
Fuck up my mind.
In a fortnight,
I aged in ages.
Learnt it all,
From fools and from
sages.
Men must do what needs to be
done,
While others breathe to
survive.
And then, some of us
become legends,
Defining deeds, shaping
lives.
And 2023 passed fine,
So many of us broke some
ice.
This one ahead will shine,
And broaden your smiles. Amen!
I did what I had to do,
But now I must proceed.
Because though I have my plans,
Others have dire needs.
