I am a man of forever-
As are my traits and
ideas,
Love and disdain.
I am also, a man of
conviction-
I might seek
re-assurances,
But, irrespectively, I always believe.
Obligations can hold me
back,
For how long, but?
Unfailingly, I reunite-
With my quest for forever.
The mind has been
forlorn,
From its depths, thoughts
Rarely wash ashore.
But believe, you must,
In my forever-
For, you are in it.
I will find words for you,
Simple but aplenty-
Words that are forever.
The distances that,
Creep in between,
Are ephemeral.
But you will survive,
As will I.
Together. Forever.
