I had once wondered,
When I knew naivety-
How could one song,
Define an entire life for me.
You, my friend, would have told me,
But must have let it be.
That the song, now forgotten,
Was birthed and shaped by me.
In this part of the universe,
Wretched spineless beings,
Guised as mortal humans,
Sneak into our scenes.
Those that I have smothered,
With this one that I almost own,
Must have developed some vertebrae,
Below their heads, there- all the way down.
I still find it hard to believe,
Concluding needs the same old words.
Let it just be, leeches don’t change,
But never forget, never does HE.
