For you, Kaka!!

And he was one of a kind,
One who didn't know inhibitions,
And he knew no fear.

The God's child, I'd say,
For, he sung in words,
That seemed divine.

And he created the music too..
His fingers strum the strings,
Like butter was meant for bread,

A man honest, caring and a genius,
Beyond what words could describe,
A gem, I'd say.

I do not mean much,
In this world so fast,
But in my passive tone, I'd say..

May you sing songs of joy,
Of friends, of love,
Of destinations, of journeys..

I will listen to them all,
Repeating till eternity,
Perhaps until,
You write your story down.

And then play your songs,
On repeat,
Again for eternity.

Sometimes

The man in the mirror, I know not!
A stranger? Or someone I forgot?

To him, I tell a secret though,
For I thought he should know,

"Sometimes when I see you,
I miss the boy, I once knew
".

2013- All ours!

How I hate, These winter mornings, To hell with the cold, And the fog, This is, A special one, And I rose, With the sun, This one morning, surrounded, By if not all, Many a ones, I cherished, And for the ones, Who were not, I Shall not pity, But hope, As for all of them, May the sun shine, Equally bright on you, Time shall follow its own course, But I hope my firend, This year be ours! All ours!

There he falls.

Beyond the boundaries,
of thoughts,
you could conjure,

Emerged a story,
crossing what is defined,
and what is not.

The tainted ones,
got their dues,
the purer ones,
they did not.

A void developed,
why? I know not!
something went wrong,
who cares, what!

For those who know,
This sad story I do tell,
Pity your faith,
But your god, he just fell!

Yes the mightiest one,
Yes, he fell.

Really, ever?

Used to be an unusual calm,
about him, around him,
Those who knew him,
Found peace in his smile,
He didn't know haste,
And he knew no chase,
He made no friends,
And no enemies,
So forgiving was he,
He could qualify as divine,
They claimed to love him,
He never loved back,
A man perhaps, so content,
He wondered,
Did he ever love,
Anything, Anyone?

It wasn't change,
That he sought,
He liked to stay,
Passively as he'd say,
No needs he had,
Switching them ,
When they took a toll,
Free from all that binds,
He for sure knew,
He wanted none,
For He never gave some,
Stood firm,
As he evolved through,
This noble soul,
Benign still, and true.

A businessman next door

His long locks cut short,
The beard done away with,
They dressed him up,
In a formal attire,

Words censored,
Actions monitored,
They shaped him up,
Into a man formal,

He smiled,
When they grinned,
They cuffed him up,
To check his ways,

They conspired,
He stayed calm,
They resisted,
Held him down,

He tucked his shirt,
Looked into the mirror,
At the man ready now,
The man who meant only business.

On board

Raced untiringly, A wonder he admired,
Strong metal it was, bodies with flesh inside,
Lost in the tranquil of maddening speed,
Almost free, as a bird high in the sky,
The joints and the track beneath rumble,
And it's not noise, but music of a kind,
Open the door, to the never ending fields,
And feel the air hard against your face,
And it's not pain, but a pleasure inexplicable,
The kid pressed his face against the window,
As if reflecting back on the better times,
Not wanting this journey to end, nor tomorrow to arrive,
Thirsty to soak it all up, right here tonight
I wanted to go, ask him what was on his mind,
But decide otherwise, letting him have his time,
As I lit a cigarette by the door, I wished,
If only I could spend the rest of my life on board.
